Dr. Mostafa Youssef Al-Naggar, President of Matrouh University, affirmed that the university places great emphasis on the practical and applied aspects of its academic programs. This comes within the framework of its vision to prepare professional cadres capable of meeting the needs of the labor market and contributing to community service, particularly in the area of care and support for people of determination. The university president explained that the field visit organized by the Faculty of Early Childhood Education to Al-Nusour Center for People of Determination (Zayed Medical), for first- and second-year students in the special program, represents an effective model of integration between theoretical education and practical application. It reflects the faculty’s commitment to refining students’ skills and enabling them to directly engage with real-life scenarios of working with special needs individuals. He noted that the visit gave students a valuable opportunity to learn about the center's services, including pediatric and dental clinics, physiotherapy units, speech therapy, psychotherapy, sensory stimulation, and behavior modification, in addition to Montessori and sensory integration rooms. He stressed that such field experiences help build a realistic understanding of the nature of various disabilities and how to address them. Dr. Al-Naggar praised the warm welcome extended by Brigadier Dr. Wael El-Saeedi, the center director, and the outstanding artistic performances presented by the children of the center, which showcased their exceptional talents and abilities. Concluding his remarks, the university president confirmed that Matrouh University continues to support effective partnerships with various institutions and specialized centers, believing in the importance of inclusion and empowerment of people of determination. He emphasized the role of real-life practical experiences in supporting the educational process and in preparing scientifically and ethically qualified graduates capable of making a positive impact on their community. The visit was supervised by Dr. Soha Amin, Acting Dean of the Faculty, and attended by Dr. Lobna Shaaban, Dr. Norhan Salama, Dr. Basma Mostafa, and Alaa Abdelbaset, Teaching Assistant at the Faculty.
