Overview
The faculty was established by Ministerial Decree No. (1646) of 2019 as the eleventh college of the university. The Supreme Council of Universities approved in its session No. (701) on 23/6/2020 the commencement of study starting from the academic year 2020/2021.
Mission
The mission of the Faculty of Computers and Artificial Intelligence is to build an advanced educational system aligned with the rapid growth in computing and information technology. It aims to equip students with fundamental knowledge and scientific research capabilities in computer science, IT, and AI, while fostering innovation, teamwork, and competitiveness at the local, regional, and international levels. Furthermore, it promotes awareness of the value of education, self-learning, and the importance of modern methods, using scientific research as a tool to innovate in the college's fields by analyzing the economic, commercial, and social impact of research outputs, and by offering distinguished community services in IT fields.
