Veterinary Services Unit

Unit Goals:
  1. Assist the faculty in particular and the university in general in fulfilling its mission, whether in teaching and training students or in scientific research.
  2. Protect animal and poultry wealth from diseases and work to increase it through accurate and rapid diagnosis of diseases, leading to proper treatment of animals.
  3. Work on diagnosing zoonotic diseases to limit their spread and transmission to humans.
  4. Conduct scientific research aimed at solving real problems facing those interested in animal production of all kinds.
  5. Work to increase the productive activity of the faculty in various farms (rabbits, sheep, and any new farms) by providing veterinary medical consultations and appropriate treatments, which reflects on increasing production.
  6. Contribute to the implementation of scientific research projects at the university and its faculties by utilizing available equipment to perform the required medical analyses.
